Il 23 gennaio 2003 c'è stato l'ultimo debole contatto con Pioneer 10,
quando si trovava a 12 miliardi di chilometri dalla Terra. Nel 2006 è stato fatto l'ultimo
tentativo di riallineare l'antenna con la Terra per tentare di ricevere il segnale,
ma inutilmente....
